Our Story
Beyond his professional achievements, Paul’s life has been shaped by his deep commitment to family and community. After graduating college, he moved to Central Florida, where he met Monique, his wife of over 22 years. With her came a bright-eyed four-year-old daughter, marking the start of his journey as a father. Paul and Monique share a passion for giving back—fostering children, supporting their community, and opening their home to those in need. In 2017, they welcomed a teenager into their family through adoption, and in 2024, one of their foster children became a permanent member of their household.
Born and raised in Southern California, Monique spent time in South Carolina before settling in Florida, where she and Paul built their life together. Family ties later brought them to Kentucky, where their oldest daughter started her own family. Today, Paul and Monique are proud parents of three daughters and doting grandparents to two granddaughters—whom they both love to spoil at every opportunity.
Outside of their work, Paul and Monique enjoy spending time with family, hosting backyard BBQs, and sharing their love of horses and horse racing with each other.

Paul Withrow is an accomplished transportation executive with 26 years of experience building and leading successful businesses. His success stems from his ability to help people realize their goals—fueling both business growth and personal development. Prepared with a degree in Transportation and Logistics from Iowa State University, Paul quickly advanced in his career, leveraging his expertise in strategic planning, operations, and leadership. He firmly believes that sustaining success requires continuous learning, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.
A strong advocate for building high-performing teams, Paul understands that businesses thrive when the right people are in the right positions. Throughout his career, he has fostered professional growth by ensuring his teams receive ongoing training and development, continuously challenging them to improve and innovate.
His proven leadership has placed him in key executive roles at industry-leading companies, including Bluegrass Dedicated, a transportation and 3PL company in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Hampton Jitney, a premier motorcoach company in Long Island, NY, and Northern Refrigerated Transportation in California, where he drove significant increases in revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency. Now, as President or S.M.A.R.T. Consulting Services, Paul applies his deep expertise in business strategy to help organizations achieve their future goals—today.

As the CEO of S.M.A.R.T. Consulting Services, Inc., she leverages her vast knowledge to empower businesses and professionals to achieve sustainable success. A dedicated member of Rotary, Monique embodies the spirit of service above self, making a meaningful impact in both her professional and personal life.
Her passion for giving back extends beyond the workplace. Monique has worked with and raised funds for numerous charities, always seeking ways to uplift her community. She and her husband, Paul, have devoted their lives to fostering, mentoring, and supporting those in need. In 2017, they welcomed a teenager into their family through adoption, and in 2024, another foster child became a permanent part of their home.
